Guest Poet: Veronica Aaronson

Veronica Aaronson is the co-founder and one of the organisers of the Teignmouth Poetry Festival. She has won and been placed in several competitions. Veronica's work has been published widely in literary journals, online and in anthologies. Her first collection, Nothing About The Birds Is Ordinary This Morning was published by Indigo Dreams in 2018 and has been put forward for the 2020 Laurel Prize.

Jean Atkin's new collection How Time is in Fields (May 2019) is available from Indigo Dreams Publishing. Her previous publications include Not Lost Since Last Time (Oversteps Books), and six poetry pamphlets. Her poetry has been commissioned for BBC Radio 4, featured on Ramblings with Claire Balding, and added to Best Scottish Poems by the Scottish Poetry Library. She works as a poet in education, wellbeing and community. She is Troubadour of the Hills for Ledbury Poetry Festival, and BBC National Poetry Day Poet for Shropshire.
